I have a background in Industrial Design Engineering and International Business Administration from the University of Twente. I completed these two separate bachelor degrees within 4 years and graduated among the top 1% in the University.
I've studied at Seoul National University (SNU) as an exchange student in 2023 receiving only A+ grades.
Currently I'm an MSE candidate in Integrated Product Design at the University of Pennsylvania.
I've co-authored a paper called : "Engineering workshop education and supervision: AR for machine operation guidance and safety instructions".
Next to this I've written a business thesis called "Building Trust to Boost Trade : Strategies for Enhancing Credibility in B2B Startups".
Professional experience
I am the Co-Founder of ChatIT, a company providing generative AI solutions to SME's. I've bootstrapped this company together with my partner and in the first year we reached a revenue of €15,000 while still pursuing our university degrees.
Next to that, I've had several part time jobs during my higher education. Amongst them are Facility Manager of the Innovation hub where Booking.com and Just eat takeaway started, as well as Student Involvement Consultant to the Student Union & The University of Twente.
I've been a Lead Consultant on a project for Drone Implementation at the Royal Dutch Police Corps.
During this I worked with a group of researchers to evaluate the effectiveness of drone implementation for crime control in the Netherlands, contributing to the national adoption of the technology.
Besides my paying jobs I've been a long time volunteer at the Foodbank in Enschede-Haaksbergen where I helped with the food distribution to those in need.

Outside of work you'll find me:

- Exploring the world - Trying to accomplish my goal of visiting all 7 continents.
- Having fun on the mountain while snowboarding (in the winter, at least).
